Coastal Amusements Service Bulletin for Coastal Cranes

Problem: Up/Down Claw Motor

Symptom: Motor will only operate in one direction; motor seizes; and will cause relays to chatter.

Solution: Replace U-17 (ULN2003) and U-3 (new Firmware provided by Coastal) on the main PC Board. (Single Crane I7D5 5/14/04)-(Jumbo Crane I32-1 5/14/04)-(Chocolate Crane I7D4A 5/1/4/04)

Crane Up/Down motors that have failed and are under warranty will be exchanged. This problem affects only a small percentage of games. If you are experiencing problems, please contact the Coastal service department to arrange for this new firmware.
